While the shenanigans of partisan politics are giving birth to headlines, Americans are praying for justice. What happens when we-the-people get to decide what the next main stream media topic will be? How will we choose? Someone has to research all of the political rhetoric. Then, they have to find some way to synchronize this great symphony of incentives and disincentives called the United States. As luck would have it, Donald Trump has unknowingly given us an opening.
Trump is currently in the process of renegotiating NAFTA. He is threatening to tear it up. This language causes my eye brows to shoot up with intrigue. I actually agree with him. We should tear up NAFTA. But, what should we replace it with?
Did you know that early domestication was actually initiated by the animals. It's true. All of the smartest nicest animals just wondered into the villages. People gave them food and even names. Humans formed mutually beneficial relationships with pigs, chickens and other friendly creatures.
Today Mexican pig farmers engage in brutal slaughtering practices. There are no regulations to prevent these torturous methods. Butchering often begins while the pigs are still alive. But, the workers are not to blame. They are treated only slightly better than the animals. Wages of less than two dollars a day are typical. So, who is to blame? Who is eating this meat? We are.
